My tech
blueprint
“…Remember to imagine and craft the worlds you cannot live without, just as you dismantle the ones you cannot live within.”

While volunteering in college, I saw a robotics club in action & thought, "How cool!" Watching those students bring ideas to life with tech ignited a passion in me to bring this innovation back home. That moment became the seed for my tech journey, making me eager to explore how I could make tech accessible to my own community.
As I balanced my studies in Politics & Government, I found myself volunteering & studying tech deep into the night, fueled by curiosity & ambition. With every late-night session, I was building my foundation in tech, blending academic pursuits with hands-on learning that kept pushing me forward.
In early fall 2020, a year after graduating, I connected with a non-profit focused on upskilling people in STEM. Although the organization didn't heavily focus on technology, I was determined to break into the tech industry. They supported my ambition by helping me create a custom pathway into tech, allowing me to find mentors, build connections, & deepen my skills. This tailored approach made all the difference in guiding my tech journey forward.
After being accepted into the non-profit program, I received a call after graduation with exciting news—they had raised over $10,000 to fund my pursuit of a JavaScript Full Stack Developer certification. The intensive training challenged me to think like a developer, & by the end, I had a solid skill set that prepared me to create & contribute meaningfully in tech spaces.
Following a speaking opportunity at the non-profit’s annual gala, I was offered a role as the first tech apprentice at my company’s tech innovation hub. This role allowed me to apply my new skills, gain hands-on experience, & pave the way as a tech leader within my organization.
As a rising star in tech, I’m often called on to moderate panels, lead workshops, volunteer, & contribute to tech spaces. Constantly evolving, I’m dedicated to ongoing learning & upskilling, with credentials in Salesforce, RPA, project management, & Google Cloud. Currently, I’m a Robotic Process Automation Engineer Associate.
